I DONT KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME
Aug 7, 2020
The first full-length album from Salt Lake City's I DONT KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME, aka iDKHOW is called “Razzmatazz” and is due out on October 16th via Fearless Records/Concord. The lead single from this collection is called "Leave Me Alone."
iDKHOW member Dallon Weekes explains, "When you’re in a toxic situation, the phrase ‘Leave Me Alone’ is the last civil thing you say before things get uncivil.”
Based in Utah and formed in 2016, iDKHOW is fronted by former Panic! At The Disco bassist Dallon Weekes and also includes drummer Ryan Seaman. With a curated storyline, iDKHOW was initially believed to have been a band from 30 plus years ago that never got their big break. In 2017, an anonymous donor began to release recovered video footage of iDKHOW. There were videos released from 1964-1983, hinting to a different story than that of a band lost to obscurity. As footage of iDKHOW surfaced so did the debate about the band. iDKHOW formally revealed itself prior to hitting the road and performing on the mainstage at UK’s Reading and Leeds Festivals as well as sharing stages with the likes of Twenty One Pilots, The 1975, Billie Eilish, The Killers, The National and Blink 182, just to name a few.
Their lead single “Choke” was a Top 15 song at Alternative Radio in 2019 and has clocked over 42 million Spotify streams. iDKHOW has released two EPs: 2018's “1981” and 2019's “Christmas Drag.”
