Winnetka Bowling League recently released their newest single called “CVS.” It follows the release of their latest EP “Cloudy With A Chance Of Sun” which is out now via RCA Records. The track’s video was filmed in a CVS in Los Angeles on Sepulveda and it features candy hearts & cameos by newlywed Hilary Duff who just married WBL front-man Matthew Koma, and his best pal Christopher Mintz-Plasse (“McLovin” of “Superbad” cult film fame).
“We had to jump through some hoops to make it happen for sure, so it sort of became ‘Well, we should make a video about making the video if it’s going to be like that,’” Koma explains. “It sounded pretty ridiculous but our director Zack [Sekuler] and I like the challenge of doing something that everyone else says is too hard to pull off.”
Winnetka Bowling League is fronted by Matthew Koma, a talented songwriter, performer, and producer who has worked with artist ranging from Bruce Springsteen, Shania Twain to Kelly Clarkson. The group also includes drummer Kris Mazzarisi, bassist Maddie Jay and keyboardist Sam Beresford.
