Of Monsters And Men

The multiplatinum Icelandic quintet Of Monsters And Men recently announced their third album “Fever Dream” will be released on July 26^th via Republic Records. The collection was co-produced by Rich Costey (MUSE, Vampire Weekend, Chvrches) and it is the band’s third studio album. The first single out now from the collection is called “Alligator.” On this song, co-vocalist Nanna Bryndis Hilmarsdóttir has taken center stage not only as the lead vocalist, but also wrote the track as well. In celebration of the new music, the band have confirmed the television debut performance of “Alligator” on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on May 15th. 

On the empowering anthem and what is coming next for the band they noted, "We are so excited about ‘Alligator,’ the first release from our upcoming album. The song very much speaks to the excitement and energy that we feel about being back. We can’t wait to share more music and see everyone again.”

Of Monsters And Men first formed in 2010 and the members include lead singer and guitarist Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir, singer and guitarist Ragnar "Raggi" Þórhallsson, guitarist Brynjar Leifsson, drummer Arnar Rósenkranz Hilmarsson and bassist Kristján Páll Kristjánsson. In 2011, they released their debut album “My Head Is An Animal,” and its lead single "Little Talks" was an international success. The breakthrough single earned a quintuple-platinum certification from the RIAA, made history as “the first song by an Icelandic band to cross 1 billion streams on Spotify,” and landed the band a performance on Saturday Night Live. In 2015, they released their sophomore album, “Beneath The Skin.” Of MonstersAnd Men have appeared on official soundtracks for franchises such as The Hunger Games, The Walking Dead, to name a few.

On May 14th, Of Monsters And Men announced a North American Fall Headline tour will begin in Washington D.C. on September 4th with a stop at Life Is Beautiful Music & Arts Festival in Las Vegas on September 21st.
