Mallrat

“Groceries” is the latest track released off of Mallrat's latest and second EP “In The Sky” out now via Nettwerk. It is a catchy and pure-hearted song about wanting to grocery shop with a crush.

When asked about the song, Grace Shaw, the 19 year old behind Mallrat explained, “It’s about having a crush but not wanting to have a crush on someone. Being like, this is so annoying, I don’t want this. I love being independent, so when you really like someone it can be annoying. I’m really happy with ‘In the Sky’ [but] I don’t want any of my songs to sound like any of my other songs. I never think about what I want the next EP or album to sound like.”

Grace Shaw better known as Mallrat, is an Australian musician, singer, and rapper from Brisbane. Mallrat has released two EPs; “Uninvited” (2016) and “In the Sky” (2018).
