Kasabian

"Bless This Acid House” is the latest single from the English band, Kasabian. It can be found on their sixth studio album, “For Crying Out Loud” released on May 5th. It was inspired by a poster designed by British artist Jeremy Deller. In an interview, Kasabian front-man Sergio Pizzorno described it as "one of the best tunes [he has] ever written."
“There was an ambition to save guitar music from wherever the hell it’s going. We’re trying to save it from being written off as just old music. We wanted to make a very positive album full of hope with guitars to remind people that it doesn’t have to sound like some old-fashioned bullshit next to whatever’s coming out, that it’s still relevant,” he states. “That was the plan, and that’s what we’ve made.”
Kasabian was formed in Leicester in 1997 and the band's current members include vocalist Tom Meighan, guitarist and vocalist Sergio Pizzorno, bassist Chris Edwards and drummer Ian Matthews. Kasabian have released six studio albums –“ Kasabian” (2004), “Empire” (2006), “West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum” (2009), “Velociraptor!” (2011), “48:13” (2014) and “For Crying Out Loud” (2017). Their music has won them several awards and recognition in the media, including a Brit Award in 2010 for Best British Group.
Kasabian will be out on a fall tour in the U.S. and then onto Europe in support of “For Crying Out Loud.”
